One of the best things about May


Lisa and I teamed up and spent one sticky and sweet evening mixing, timing and stirring to stock our freezers with this unbelieveable deliciousness last week.
I always forget how much sugar is in it.
No wonder.
Good sandwiches are here again.

I don't know why you think 4 cups of sugar to every 2 cups of strawberries is a lot? Ahh, sugar. Great picture Lori.

Just back from the temple and Kathy's week's visit---so am catching up with blogs. Your jam looks so pretty! Makes me want to make more. I totally agree, I always forget how much sugar is in there, too. Dad about croaked the first time he helped me make it. He had no idea how much sugar goes into jam.

Strawberry? Yum. Do you have an extra freezer for all that good stock? My favorite thing to can every summer are peaches. Mmmm, mmmm.
